Kay In The Sun was designed for the bold, creative, and conscious collective who lives freely outside of societal norms and embraces personal freedom. It also embraces and welcomes all. It is an esoteric platform which brings light, love, joy, and inspiration to uplift humanity through various spiritual, holistic, event planning, and therapeutic services, products, and collaborations that cater to a higher quality of life for the mind, body, and spirit.

Karilyn Nuñez (Kay) the founder of Kay In The Sun, has the gift of clairvoyance and mediumship. She has the ability to communicate with Spirit, ancestors, and loved ones whom have transitioned from the physical world. Her soul purpose is to serve as a vessel to Spirit and provide you with the messages they have for you which serve as guidance in your life's journey and for your highest and greatest good. Kay is also a licensed psychotherapist and provides therapeutic services to those seeking healing. Within her spiritual and holistic pursuit, Kay offers guidance to those seeking to embrace love, light, and personal freedom in their lives.

​Kay has obtained her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Social Work at Fordham University. She is currently pursuing her second Masters degree at Fordham's Gabelli School of Business with the concentrations of marketing and global sustainability. Kay has worked with various communities within areas including medical, private practice, immigration, and educational fields.

Within her artistic side, Kay attended the Atlantic Theater Acting School (NYU) in which she graduated with acting conservatory training. She has been in various performances including The Public Theater Shakespeare in the Park's adaptation As You Like It. She has a background in event planning, ​interior decorating, and graphic design. Kay is also a native from the Dominican Republic, where her natural afrocentric essence, free spirit, tropical influences, and love for the warm sun derive from. Also a Native New Yorker, Kay has adopted her chic vibrant style, education, and life purpose.
